Albert Abbott were very good at doing exactly what they said they would do.The car was very well cleaned and they answered all my questions honestly without any fancy promises,I felt they really cared about doing a good job

I recently brought a car from Albert Abbott motors and I must say it was brilliant no stress, honest no pressure experience. The vehicle I purchased was in immaculate condition was serviced with a full MOT and also covered by a well detailed warranty. So if you want peace of mind when purchasing a second hand car look no further than Albert Abbott motors.

I cannot rate higher than 5 stars if I could I would, the car I purchased was exactly as advertised the salesman John was super helpful not pushy at all. I would highly recommend Albert Motors to friends and family, in fact I would not go to anyone else.

Excellent service, fully explained everything and immediately came to my assistance when I couldn't lock the car when I got it home.It was only a minor detail ,boot not completely shut but nothing was too much trouble .They made the purchase of my car stress free and easy.I would recommend them to everyone.

We saw a car we liked the look of so contacted the dealer, John replied very quickly. When we viewed the car we were interested in, we were highly impressed. The vehicle was immaculate both inside and out. I couldn't fault anything. Small family business who puts every customer first. Couldn't recommend any higher. When we need a new car, this will be the first place we visit.

Bought a car for my wife 18mths ago. Fab car, fair price. Excellent customer service. Very friendly, helpful, and even put full MOT on the car as it only had a few months left, tyres were advised, and knowing the children were going to be in the vehicle, they replaced those too. I've now gone back to buy another car - upgrading my own. Highly recommended.

So genuine, honest always great service and after care. I always go there if in the market for a car. My current car and previous car was bought there. So pleased every time.

I'd been looking for a particular classic vehicle for a long time and came across one advertised at Albert Abbott Motors in Northampton. It didn't seem to be the usual stock that they held but nonetheless I called up and had a lovely conversation with John (Abbott). John talked with pride and honesty about the car and I agreed to view it the following weekend. Drove down, had a really good look round it, poured over the paperwork and had a really good test drive. No pressure from John at all, we agreed a deal and John arranged a fresh MOT and service for me in time to collect the following week. Travelled down by train, John even picked me up from the station on the Bank Holiday so I could collect the car. I'd have no problem recommending Albert Abbott motors to anyone, it's a fine example of how a long established business looks after people and I wish them many more years happy trading ahead. I stopped in on Saturday afternoon. I'd seen a nice Ford Focus Titanium advertised on Autotrader but it was getting close to closing time. I had a look around the car before going over to find the owner. I could clearly tell from a quick inspection that these guys do a thorough cleaning job of their cars and they don't sell junk. After meeting with John, we started the car up, and popped the hood (bonnet?...I'm from the US). The engine compartment was likewise immaculate. Something I was surprised to find in a 10 year old car. Even at this late hour on a Saturday, he agreed to go for a test drive. It was smooth shifting and we had a great conversation about cars, the family business, etc. On getting back, I was pretty much sold with one little thing. I had mentioned to him that I thought it was probably due for it's timing/cam belt change, something I was cautious about after having one break and kill my Subaru a couple years back. John agreed it was due for it and that he could do the work that week as well as replace the driver's side door gasket that was ripped a bit. Sold. Finding a good used car is as much about finding a good dealer you feel you can trust as it is finding the car. The two certainly go together here...that's the kind of business Ben and John run. I have had the best experience buying a car from this company. John Abbott was very helpful and a good cameraman giving me a video walk round of the car I had seen online, explaining the features and condition (which was excellent btw). Ben Abbott, delivered the car to me over 100 miles away 2 days later. I couldnt be more impressed with the service I received. I would recommend this company wholeheartedly.

An excellent car buying experience. Looking at the website you get a feel for the authenticity of this small, local car dealer - established well over 50 years ago and still trading from the same location and run by the same family says it all. From the initial contact, virtual car viewing, test drive & subsequent purchase John Abbott provided an extremely high level of service ensuring that our experience was an enjoyable and positive one. The car was superbly presented, far better than one we had been very disappointed by at a local main dealer, and with the reassurance of a very personal touch to ensure that the car was as mechanically perfect as it could be.
